On the 1st of February, 2018, the BSEACC President Lukas Puidokas had lunch at the Japan Embassy in Lithuania with Japanese Ambassador H.E. Toyoei Shigeeda and the second secretary Mr. Inoue Hiroya.

During the meeting, they discussed potential collaborations between the “Baltic & South – East Asian Chamber of Commerce” and the Japan Embassy in Lithuania.

They agreed that the Baltic States and especially Lithuania, who shares important historical moments in the past and economical collaborations today with Japan, are just starting to gain momentum, and the best example of Japanese FDI in the Baltic states are the Japanese electronics and automotive companies. Baltic products export to Japan it’s very important for closer connection,  H.E. Toyoei Shigeeda agreed to assist in the promotion of BSEACC members and partners for mutual Baltics and Japanese needs and profits.
